In April 2013, the biggest and first solar power system of the Sahara to date was taking into production through our completion.
The 32 million Dollar project at a capacity of 15 MW is the country’s first solar power plant and is going to cover 10% of the Mauritanian electricity demand.
Our client and financier of the project was MASDAR, a company specialized in renewable energy from Abu Dhabi.
